Hugh Doherty affectionately known as Pop. Called home to be with his Lord and Saviour 18^th July 2022. Loving husband to the late Violet, devoted father to David and daughter-in-law Maureen. Amazing Grandad to Cheryl and her husband Nigel, Michelle and her husband Steven and Jonathan and his fiancé Rose. Adored by his 7 great grandchildren Mark, Samuel, Peter, Isaac, Benjamin, Avalon and Scarlett. Brother to the late Raymond, Desmond and Maurice and survived by his sister Nan. Much loved by his nephews Ian and Paul and his niece, the late Naomi, and all their families. The family would like to express their thanks to all the staff of Hawthorn House Care Home for the care and love they gave to Hugh even in those short 6 months he was with you, you all became an extension of his family.
